The late C. Wright Mills, Professor of Sociology at Columbia University, was a leading critic of modern American civilization. Alan Wolfe is University Professor and Professor of Political Science and Sociology at Boston University. 评分部分章节。只能说米尔斯实在太狠，字句如刀，刀刀见血。他对interlocking directorates 的论述恐怕是对连锁董事最早的观察，充满着反讽和批判，却在后世让这些在bureaucratic体系里挣扎的学术民工不断生产出苍白无力的工业量化分析，不得不让人感叹天才已死，世事无常。昔日玫瑰以其名留芳，今人所持唯玫瑰之名。
