越來越喜歡哈代的文筆瞭，自然描寫很妙，讓人如臨其境～看到後麵有種言情小說即視感，但文筆描寫還是很妙。超愛Gabriel Oak，嫁人當如此啊！小說最後的結尾略平淡，電影中最後那一爆發似的吻更給力啊！不過小說這樣寫可能更切閤題目吧。

Theirs was the substantial affection which arises when the two who are thrown together begin by knowing the rougher sides of each other’s character, and not the best till further on, the romance growing up in the interstices of a mass of hard reality.

哈代真的是寫景長於寫人。除瞭描摹齣英國鄉村四季絢麗綺美的景象，人事的刻畫卻乏善可陳。生硬的敘事技巧在二十世紀文學麵前完全不值一提，讀者甚至時而感到捉襟見肘、強行拼湊。前半部分情節推進異常沉悶而拖遝，Troy齣場後人物衝突加劇，劇情纔逐漸精彩起來。看到結尾越發也能體會齣哈代的優點。不悲天、不憫人，筆觸冷靜而殘酷，即使是小說結尾Gabriel Oak和Bathsheba終於成眷屬，也不過是平淡的勾勒一筆，仿佛是作者替筆下人物心理一直壓抑著激情卻直到故事結局也不肯釋放。誰知道經曆瞭人世浮沉後他們愈發現實的婚姻又會走嚮何處嗎？ 可是，生活不就是如此嗎？
