Thoughts are real. Words are real. Everything human is real, and sometimes we know things before they happen, even if we aren't aware of it. We live in the present, but the future is inside us at every moment. Maybe that's what writing is all about, not recording events from the past, but making things happen in the future.

的确不是最好的Paul Auster，没有太特别的故事和意外，但是Paul Auster的感情总是很锋利，有些字句雕蚀一般让人难受，需要停下来缓冲一下。我看书就跟生活一样，总是太当真。
