《惡童日記》再次印證瞭偉大的小說根本不靠辭藻和噱頭。跟米蘭昆德拉一樣,Agota Kristof也逃離瞭故土,中年開始用法語寫作;從譯本也可以間接看齣用非母語進行文學創作的挑戰性。但語言上的相對稚嫩,如果運用得當,會有意想不到的戲劇效果:《惡童日記》第一部分是雙胞胎主角的日記,它給我帶來的震撼第一是戰爭的殘酷,第二是敘述者有著與年紀不符的成熟、冷漠、甚至凶殘。第二部分雙胞胎被邊境分隔,用第三人稱講述獨自留在傢鄉的Lucas的麯摺故事。第三部分乾脆徹底把前麵的敘事推翻,讓讀者睏惑,哪個敘事者說的是真話?直到最後纔道齣全部真相。可這時你會發現,現實的絕望已經遠遠超過瞭謊言(或者戲中戲)的殘酷。

评分那種理所應當的平靜語氣,是讓人最不知道如何應對的。不喜歡譯名裏的”惡童“。
评分今年讀到的好小說之一。我更應該慶幸的是居然在二手書店買到英文版,而且當時就隻有一本!太高興啦!
