The book was written after the First Word War. At that time it was for children. And the auther in his old ages(that's in 1990s) translated it into English himself. 看书评和作者的感觉应该是本好书啊，应该是以老人的口气写给小朋友的书，并且这个老人是研究艺术史的，应该能把这两者好好的结合起来，从不同的角度讲一讲，但是翻译的是在太差了~让人都读不下去了~ 有没有可以直接读的英语版？
