恩斯特·贡布里希（Ernst H. Gombrich，1909—2001），生于奥地利维也纳，英国著名艺术史家、人文主义者，一位百科全书式的人物，被誉为“英国乃至世界上最著名的艺术史家”和“20世纪最具影响力的学者和思想家之一”。在二战期间，他曾为英国广播公司工作，专门负责监听德语广播；战后在伦敦大学瓦尔堡研究所工作，后来一直担任该校教授。
