不必看那些晦涩难懂的古经与古文，看这本漫画你就能理解佛祖是什么：一位智慧的老师。佛祖教什么：终结痛苦的方法，佛教是什么：按照佛祖的教导修行的人们。 书中提到佛祖并不会讲一些普通人无法证实的玄学，比如轮回转世，西方极乐世界，这些可能是后人衍生出来的，佛祖只会讲与能够帮人脱离苦难的东西，他的教义其实是很朴实的。这点指出了一般人对于佛的一些误解。

挺有趣

对于佛教入门来说比看某些资料要好很多，也很直接。千言万语三句话：诸行无常，诸法无我，涅槃寂静。境界不知可否去体会

抛开宗教本身，仅仅从客观的角度来看这本书，不得不说2500年前佛陀悟出的哲学十分精确啊！对宇宙世间万物自我本质的认识是那么的透彻，对自我身心的修行之道给出了明确的指示，这不限于宗教的修行，而是为人之道的修行。
