WAC pedagogy. 除瞭預設瞭學生都是會認真讀閱讀做作業的好學生以外（which is probably never the case for an average college),給的各個章節的教學建議和activities都蠻有用的。
评分學校組織writing intense discipline學習活動所用的參考書。教語言學課程的時候有布置寫作作業但是都沒有取得很好的效果，對照此書發現關鍵在於作為老師沒有給學生很好的作業要求及指導。感觸很深的是要加staging和rubrics幫助學生自己定位寫作的差距，並從非正式寫作的積纍開始，很有啓發意義
评分給老師們的教學書，針對性地講瞭學生的寫作心理、常見錯誤類型、可用方法，主導WAC（跨學科寫作法）。不是手把手的語法書或寫作書，但是可讀性很強，例子生動，寫作學習者可以從另一個角度看自己寫作的睏境。
