写了一个读书笔记,但是印度第三部还在看，却不耐烦写了，作者见识是更深入了，可是书本身却变得乏味得多。《幽黯国度》翻译出色，是近年来我看过的文笔精彩，最有个性的翻译，只可惜有些地方用法太俏皮，译者的个性大过了原作。 ***印度，受伤的是文明还是人*** 《幽黯国度》...  

奈保尔这个名字我真的听了不知道多少次，但一直都不是特别敢读，因为名声太大如雷贯耳，也因为印度这个地方在我心里实在是太大太神秘，不说别的，每年asia week new york上东区几个展印度藏品的画廊就每次在语言上都能震慑到我，从梵文到英文直接就让我懵圈的节奏，觉得这玩意...  

可取之处：遇到的人和故事。最喜欢的一章是住在旅馆里的那些，欺软怕硬的仆人，尽管他的文笔如此乏味。 印度人很多方面和中国很像，冗繁的官僚机构，低的可怕的办事效率，狡猾而贫穷的老百姓。除了大便用手。 所以我觉得，中国还不是亚洲最糟的国家。

读V.S.奈保尔是缘于年初参加的一个以回望80年代文学思潮为主题的讲座，当主持人希望台上的嘉宾各自推荐几本近年来阅读到的难以忘怀的好书时，其中的两位不约而同提到了这个我并不熟悉的诺贝尔文学奖获得者的名字，以及他的印度三部曲。 如果说在我混杂的阅读经验里有...
