To soothe readers with similar experience, I have to point out what the author failed to do--she didn't expect her book to be read decades later by someone who knows nothing about the then London store name. 劇情設置方麵還是電影版的更勝一籌，無論是舊版還是新版。書中的邏輯分析過程過於明顯而在懸疑方麵打瞭摺扣。不過阿加莎剋裏斯蒂的筆法，確實是非常吸引人的。BTW，上譯的兩部波洛偵探的電影翻譯真是電影翻譯的一絕，橫掃現在的字幕組。

結局好像是可以猜到卻又猜不到。
