研究supernatural的曆史學傢寫的女巫小說。愛情綫像Twilight, 女主父母雙亡就像Harry Potter，中間曆史與解迷像達芬奇密碼，女巫與吸血鬼的DNA和生命進化結閤在一起還是蠻有趣的，最後穿越伊麗莎白一世年代聯想到Doctor Who，也許每個曆史學傢都有穿越的夢想。但是閱讀過程當中覺得描述性的文字比較纍贅，還加入瞭大量古代方言，拉丁文之類的，這些都影響閱讀進度。

故事是舊的，煉金術以及曆史元素是新的。看最後的緻謝，作者應該是第一次寫小說，這也就解釋瞭為何節奏如此拖遝以及視覺轉換為何如此生硬。但是，代入Mathew Goode看，什麼都好。

節奏太拖拉，跳著看的，五章能湊一集劇就不錯瞭……妥妥的病嬌瑪麗蘇，牛津部分還湊閤(吸血鬼還做瑜伽笑死)，去法國金屋藏嬌大麵積崩壞簡直沒眼看，僅一些背景和書袋還算有趣。無法腦補馬修古德演法國人。IB蜀黍的博士論文寫的也是女巫，不由好奇他老人傢會怎麼寫女巫小說……希望劇組能強力改編扭轉局麵吧

三周读完了Trilogy，不看暮光的人居然跑来看这部Trilogy，得益于最近看不进正经书和男女主的设定。看起来很颠覆以往的吸血鬼/巫师的书和剧。吸血鬼有那么长的生命用来干什么好呢？答案是学习啊！Matthew在牛津就在各大学院当过N次fellow，现在是All souls的fellow，在4个各领域...
