a discovery of witches is an interesting story, a combination of witchcrafts and vampires and history. But it’s poorly told in the book, the writing is too plain. However, the TV series is beautifully done.

????魔法强大，让我又开始读原版系列了，上次一套还是哈利波特，纳尼亚那套有点浅搁置了，之后要把魔戒三部曲读完，谁让作者是语言学家呢！哦哟跑偏了……这套作者是南加州大学历史教授写的，最近英剧开播，也是让我来读原著的动力！当然，小说是第一人称叙述，英剧编剧肯定不同角度修改，还是会有不同感受滴，总之，又能过把魔法瘾了！????

读完这个一定去读正经书。好吧，终于把三部曲都读完了，玛丽苏的厉害。不过有些地方写得还是很有趣的。最后一部Jack出现的时候，很叫人感动

故事是旧的，炼金术以及历史元素是新的。看最后的致谢，作者应该是第一次写小说，这也就解释了为何节奏如此拖沓以及视觉转换为何如此生硬。但是，代入Mathew Goode看，什么都好。
