Extremely interesting. Skillfully use basic concepts in philosophy to understand major characters and story lines in Mad Men. In the meantime, explaining these philosophical concepts in a simple and logic way that even a layman would find it easy to grasp. Also provides with a philosophical/logical way to understand the past and current world.

《廣告狂人》,一部很妙的劇,一部不屑於吊觀眾胃口很粗暴剪輯的劇,錶麵冷酷暗裏洶湧激烈的大部頭,用廣告這個行業來引綫,好像講的是職業,竄起的確是“人”在不同的政治和曆史背景任意情境中為瞭生存而作齣的人生選擇和無奈的被選擇。而這本書,其實是藉瞭這部劇的殼,從蘇格拉底到尼采等等,把曆史上很多流派的哲學觀點淺顯的傳遞給瞭讀者,所以本來晦澀的哲學,在書中顯得很好懂。注:我很著迷劇中Don跟Peggy之間的復雜的亦師亦友亦敵的情感/每周五返深高鐵固定看一集,不多不少,成瞭習慣。
