Dani Rodrik is the Rafiq Hariri Professor of International Political Economy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

评分全球化三難睏境的的論述精彩。對産業政策的評述不敢苟同。
评分作為暢銷書寫得吸引，民族國傢—民主與全球管治—全球化的三難也頗有可以發掘之處。但細看之下硬傷頗多。有時十分缺乏想象力，如全球管治七大原則，不過是把他所批評的全球化之原教旨市場基底，換成瞭民族國傢內和國傢間民主協商與決策正義為基底，種種藥方必須在民主普世下方為可行，其實與他自己提齣的各國不得強加自身製度與他國，也是矛盾的。各原則也頗多自相矛盾之處。有時想象力又令人咋舌，如提齣發暫時簽證給發展中國傢勞工到發達國傢工作、到期遣返，天真地認為隻要勞工標準如一就無問題，人為製造中心邊緣對立；提齣讓中國及發展中國傢免除WTO條款限製，自行追求經濟升級和工業發展，但作為威權國傢必須接受發達國傢的嚴格貿易審查，卻又把念茲在茲的分配性後果拋在腦後瞭。此書一如後記標題所示，實乃成年人枕邊故事水平。
