這是“深入淺齣”的極好例子。第六章“Isometries"在我看來是本書的關鍵章節。第十四章“permutation”最後幾頁沒完全讀通, "orbit"和“period”概念生疏。全書內容95%是初中+高中的數學知識，但作者寫得更像是給大學以上數學水平的人看的。
