著者簡介

安.拉莫特（Anne Lamott）

1954年生於舊金山。自馬裏蘭州古徹學院（Goucher College）肄業後，便搬迴舊金山灣區從事寫作。1980年，推齣第一本小說《大笑》（Hard Laughter），接下來齣版的小說包括《蘿西》（Rosie）（1983）、《喬瓊斯》（Joe Jones）（1985），以及《所有新人》（All New People）（1989）。1993年推齣根據個人經曆寫成的《幽默與勇氣－－一個單親媽媽的育兒日記》（Operating Instructions，中文版由方智齣版）。1997年齣版另一本小說《變調少女心》（Crooked Little Heart），其他著作包括《人生旅途中的恩賜：對信仰的一些思索》（Traveling Mercies: Some Thoughts on Faith）（1999）、《備份計劃：對信仰的深入思索》（Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith）（2005）。身為古根漢學術奬得主的安•拉莫特曾為《小姐》（Mademoiselle）雜誌的書評專欄作傢，也為《加州》雜誌撰寫過美食餐廳評論，並在加州大學戴維斯分校及全美各地多個寫作研討會教授寫作。目前和兒子山姆定居加州聖拉斐爾。
