《鬼子來瞭》部分：1. 說得好聽點是文章從cinematic style到thematic interpretation、historical/cultural/social investigation麵麵俱到，不好聽點就是邏輯跳躍、缺乏中心論點（先講薑文這部的攝影如何在新中國強調contrivance的攝影中獨樹一幟到電影中的animal和中國人的racism blabla）；2. 強烈不認同文章最後說戰爭隻是situational的觀點，講真，拿一個七十年代的心理學/行為學實驗做支撐真的有說服力嗎？實驗適用的是個individual層麵上的問題，而戰爭顯然不是；3. 對電影內容的復述太囉嗦，而且還有幾處有誤；4. 您08年的書怎麼不講薑文在《鬼》後其實還拍瞭電影呢？？

西方視角的獨特之處和偏見都不可避免。很懷疑作者懂不懂中文，以西方對中國研究的文獻為基礎理解中國，得到的無非是想象中的東方

西方的視角看薑文，讀解自然比體製內人狠辣精準的多；有些對於曆史更客觀的認識，也存在對現實媒體主義的理解偏差；讀瞭哈佛圖書館的自帶作者留言贈書版…裝幀印刷極棒的書，好想收一本

這書刷新瞭我對薑文電影的世界觀。作者對《陽光燦爛的日子》的解析真是奇葩又獨特，並且還理有據令人信服。看瞭此影評後讀其他對這部電影的解讀都算過傢傢。但問題是：根據Silbergeld對薑文的理解，若《陽光》真的是對理想的幻滅與反懷舊，那麼薑文在《讓子彈飛》裏錶達的情懷則站在瞭此論點的對立麵。
