从几部好莱坞黄金时代名作的细读入手探讨电影“视角问题”（广义）作者延承分析哲学的方法论注重叙述纬度在观众理解中的技巧，探讨了不可靠叙述、电影透明性、连续性剪辑等问题。总的来说对所提电影熟悉的读起来还蛮有趣味但在理论上贡献非常有限，而且继承了分析电影理论对真正观影知觉体验的漠视，把看电影当作了一种读书一般的纯理性活动，问题很大
