评分Sumanta发给我的，I felt familiar when she hit him with the frozen lamb. I thought I knew how it would end. And indeed, that's how it ended. Then I realized, I had read the synopsis from The Storied Life of A.J.. Wife kills husband with a frozen lamb leg, cooks the "weapon" in a stove, and offers the stove to cops. Noir!
评分The title is very representative of the story and straight to the point. The lamb however was 'slaughtered' in two ways. 1) to kill the husband, 2) It itself was 'slaughtered' by the policemen who ate it and to destroying it's possibility as evidence. This is perhaps what she found so very funny that caused her to giggle.
