著者簡介
卡勒德·鬍賽尼（Khaled Hosseini），1965年生於喀布爾，後隨父親逃往美國。鬍塞尼畢業於加州大學聖地亞哥醫學係，現居加州執業，並因其巨大的國際影響力，受邀擔任聯閤國親善大使。他的第一本小說《追風箏的人》問世後大獲成功，因書中角色刻畫生動，故事情節震撼感人，蟬聯亞馬遜排行榜131周之久，全球熱銷600萬冊，創下齣版奇跡。
