Dr. DolitUe is a country doctor who loves
animals. In fact, he fills his house with
so many of them thai his human patients
don t want to visit him any more. But he
isn t bothered, because he prefers
animals to people and, with the help of
his pet parrot Polynesia, he has been
learning how to talk to animals.
One day, he gets a mysterious call telling
him to come to Africa to save a pack of
monkeys from a strange sickneSs. When
he gets there, he learns many new animal
languages and makes loads of two- and
four-legged friends (plus a few with no
legs at all). But what is the real reason
he was called to Africa?
Funny and thought-provoking, this tale will
have everyone trying to talk to their pets.

评分讀兒童文學的時候總是在想以後怎麼念給小孩聽呢?是先讀中文再讀英文還是先讀英文再讀中文還是混雜著念呢是睡前念呢還是平時念呢要不要讓他復述呢…{(-_-)}
