首先，非常感谢作者在经过大量的访谈和研究之后写出这么一本精彩的书，很不易。其次，作者选择的话题让我震惊。真的是用震惊来形容都不过！都感觉不象是非虚构作品，而是一本惊悚小说。印度制药界是没有良心可言的，他们认为撒谎，作假是正常的，因为整个社会都是这样，有什么好奇怪的。就算是铁证如山，他们仍旧可以平静地看着你的眼睛，说，没有啊？这药好好的呀。FDA实在是机构臃肿，办事非常不利索。如果没有最出的whistler blower和自己的好员工，那么这个药厂的丑闻还不知道什么时候才能被揭露，而又会又多少病人因为药的不合格而死去。最后，这本书写得非常棒，文字功底厚，结构条例清晰。强烈推荐给任何对健康重视的人士。

好的质量控制来自于对过程关键环节的把控，以及事先没有通知的检查。而不是对成品的ad-hoc抽查。而全书讲述的FDA inspector在全世界各地工厂质检抽查的经历，为何就这么让人感到熟悉呢？尾声尤其值得一读。

看完是有些心力交瘁的一本书... 作假真的都是登峰造极... 还有作为一个whistleblower要有的自我修养…Eban的故事真的写得很好很清楚...只可惜近期是看不到happy ending了吧…
