In 2001 The Indochina Media Memorial Foundation (IMMF) produced a basic journalism manual entitled " Reporting and Writing News – A Basic Handbook " by Peter Eng and Jeff Hodson. Both Peter and Jeff have long experience of training journalists in the countries of the Lower Mekong Region. The manual is written specifically for journalists from this region, with all examples being taken from the local press. Its text is clear, concise and easy to understand. Feedback from all IMMF alumni has been excellent.
