《寻味中国》一个华裔女孩的美食寻根之旅。 乍看之下是一本关于美食的书籍，实际上更多的是作者本身有着地地道道美国式思想的华人对当代普通中国老百姓生活充满着好奇，以美食之名写下了自己在中国生活多年的所见所闻所思所想。  

书的名字很大，不过切入点很好，就是一个华裔女孩的美食寻根之旅。旅行的本质是思念，是寻找，前人已上路，我也该上路。虽然是个ABC，但因为是中国人的面孔，让作者花更多的心思在中国菜上面，讲了北京的厨师学校，讲了山西面食，讲了江浙菜。哈哈，豆瓣的电子阅读里面有部分诗...
