Eros is a great evil: its nature and its progeny. Socrates讓我們知道Eros是人類的動力, 背後是人類對完整的渴望, 而Symposium則通過自己的戲劇結構嚮我們揭示哲學的通透, 告訴人們追求本質的東西, 而不是本質的附帶品.
