Carlo Rovelli, an Italian theoretical physicist, is the head of the quantum gravity group at the Centre de Physique Théorique of Aix-Marseille Université. He is one of the founders of the loop quantum gravity theory and author of the international bestseller Seven Brief Lessons on Physics, Reality Is Not What It Seems, and the forthcoming The Order of Time. Rovelli lives in Marseille, France.

在坐立不安上躥下跳的飛行中聽完瞭@carlorovelli 的五月新書：The Order of Time。在《七堂極簡物理課》的第六課《概率、時間和黑洞之熱》的基礎上用一本小書的篇幅來講熱能如何區分瞭過去現在與未來。文字一如既往地簡潔、優雅。而且有聲書是捲福讀的，奇異博士帶你飛的感覺！

我真的無法苟同有些評論裡說乾貨不多因此這本書使人失望。如果你真的想要乾貨，可以去讀他的論文，各種物理文獻，保證有乾貨。但這本書就是一本充滿詩意，理性與感性並存的科學散文。第八章他對Wheeler和DeWitt的迴憶如此動人，在那之前愛因斯坦和Besso的友誼也在那一句短信中閃閃發光。human beings are not things. 很多很詩意的句子你如果稍微多思考一秒你就知道這背後的物理深意。整篇讀下來還隻在找乾貨還嚷嚷著看不到乾貨的，我覺得是沒認真讀書瞭。

時空，萬物，都是一種量子態的存在，需要一個物理係統作為參照，纔有一個對應的“形狀”。而我們每一個個體，作為一個獨立的物理係統産生覺知時，纔開始瞭對這個宇宙的“理解”。 (所以我們本是混沌的，需要相遇，纔能彼此照見。：）宇宙本無所謂時間，是因為我們的特殊視角，纔有瞭時間。但我們的“特殊”並非一種目的——宇宙的無窮排列組閤中，總會有些特殊的結果，而我們作為這種特殊的結果，纔産生瞭對時間的感知。很浪漫的一本科普，反思的是我們的perspective可能存在的種種的局限。隻是他的思考給我感覺呢，缺少一種powerful的結構(seems going no where)，一如意大利式的散漫。但就反思而言，啓發已經足夠大瞭。：）
