一開始當成罪案小說看的不可自拔，King在前半段展現的縝密推理和多視角敘事真的把我唬住瞭。後半截纔隱約看齣horror的本質。有一本正經的審訊推理，有詭異怪誕的墨西哥鬼話，有高潮迭起的正邪對抗，也有BillHodges係列的聯動，充滿IT既視感的誌怪小說。

The outsider 金的最新長篇，感覺就是閃靈再現：前半部是探案，在前後矛盾的證據麵前兩傢人的悲劇；後半部是幽靈，有著支配彆人的力量，卻在最後一刻被輕易打敗。劇情並不復雜，金也搭好瞭一個不錯的架子，可惜大傢沿著這????錯的架子到達目的地的時候，纔發現高潮是那麼軟弱無力，就好像打遊戲到瞭通關的時候，遇到的大BOSS實在外強中乾。這幾年金的新作一直都在追，而且今年還和微信群裏的讀友一起啃過瞭那部大部頭的”IT”（結果居然是大獲好評的IT把我們給看傷瞭），隻能說金很難再恢復他巔峰的狀態瞭，這也是著名作傢的通病，然而作為金的死忠，咱還得一直堅持下去，因為咱就好這一口！

三星半。期待懸疑小說的韆萬不要看。500多頁的小說本來三天就可以看完，結果斷斷續續看瞭半年。久仰Stephen King大名，沒想到這部讓我失望瞭。最開始案情懸疑的引人入勝，特彆是Terry居然在提審時被槍擊死瞭更是吊起瞭胃口，在期待解密中讀著讀著讀到一半就嗅到有點變味瞭。我喜歡看懸疑，也喜歡看超自然恐怖，但用超自然恐怖來解釋懸疑案就太犯規太倒人胃口，已經不是高開低走能形容的瞭。最後分明是愛妻人設的男主莫名其妙愛上Holly更是讓人白眼翻上天。
