作者简介
梁启超
字卓如，号任公，别号饮冰室主人。广东新会人。少年得志，12岁中秀才，15岁中举人。1890年起师从康有为。1895年在北京与康有为发动“公车上书”，参加强学会，旋为上海《时务报》主笔。1897年任长沙时务学堂总教习。1898年参加“百日维新”，同年变法失败，逃亡日本，先后创办《清议报》和《新民丛报》。1913年归国，出任共和党党魁，不久又组织进步党，并任北洋政府司法总长。晚年在清华大学讲学。
一生著述宏富，涵盖政治、经济、哲学、法学、历史、新闻、语言、宗教等领域。其著作编为《饮冰室合集》。他是西方学术、思想和文化的传播者，是民智的启蒙者。在清末民初这个动荡不安、急剧变革的时代，能将舆论、政治、学问三者集于一身并能登峰造极者，唯梁一人而已。
