In literature, writers often guide readers to favor protagonists by using names of the main characters as titles of their works; such examples include Beowulf,Macbeth, and Jane Eyre. In the gothic novel Frankenstein, Mary Shelley likewise tries to gather h...
評分Shelley's story shows interesting connection between creator and its creation. The monster and Frankenstein share similar character in some aspects: both of them are curious and learn very fast. They are both hesitant, eager for love, and bear great grief....
it's unfair to establish a link between physical deformity and moral weakness! Adam-like creature unconditional love?
I'm fearless. Therefore I'm powerful. It's monstrous but in a positive and sublime way.
The is the edition I used at school. I really enjoyed it and the appendix was really helpful.
