He is the author of Benjamin Franklin: An American Life and of Kissinger: A Biography, and the coauthor of The Wise Men: Six Friends and the World They Made. He lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and daughter.

评分科技史这种东西还是要懂原理才（最）有趣，前面读得特别慢不停查查查（当然还是不懂，已经开始质疑人生后悔没把EE读下来）后来直接放弃了看看人际关系奇闻趣事好了，可以想象作为一个文科男作者写书时功课应该做得很爽。
