最初为了学英语听的音频版，但听完忽然发现对美国的历史和政治方面介绍的蛮详细的，于是又重新看了一遍……

很棒的听力材料，用来了解美国。英语不再只是用来学习的，而是变成了解世界的一个工具。

历时三个月，总算把这本书刷了四遍。作为一本了解美国的入门教材，我很难想象能比这做的更出彩的内容。作为一本英语学习材料，词汇的安排层层相扣，也是优秀到炸裂。美中不足的是如果只是抱着学习的态度，只练前50章就够了，后50章太过冗长，收获也不是特别多，我基本可以说是为了刷完而耍了。总之总算是可以放下基础教材开始着手把所有雅思真题再刷一遍了。
