很一般

一部幾乎麵麵俱到的津巴布韋史。族群關係，民族解放戰爭，土地改革與經濟，應該是瞭解時下津巴布韋的三個比較重要的切口。盡管翻譯仍有瑕疵，但總體上很棒。

身份認同、利益調和、現代化追趕……多重目標下的艱難建國之路。這本是需要幾個世紀甚至上韆年纔能完成的任務，統統壓在非洲身上，其艱難、混亂、搖擺、危險可想而知，明天與意外哪個更先到來成為廣大非洲人民的命運寫照。當我們哀其不幸恕其不爭時，更應當給予其寬容與耐心，更重要的是教育上的幫助。

津巴布韋的學者對自己國傢曆史的敘述。並沒有局限在單一的民族主義視角下，而是將戰爭中的民族主義，種族主義或馬剋思主義等混亂的意識形態展現開來。翻譯有些地方略顯生硬，不過其實這是一本很好的地區研究著作（對不起看法變瞭！後殖民主義時期分析很精彩）雖然我現在對地區研究實在是沒興趣。
