文献综述感太强了。我只想了解穆加贝坑爹的政治生涯。
评分一部几乎面面俱到的津巴布韦史。族群关系，民族解放战争，土地改革与经济，应该是了解时下津巴布韦的三个比较重要的切口。尽管翻译仍有瑕疵，但总体上很棒。
评分津巴布韦的学者对自己国家历史的叙述。并没有局限在单一的民族主义视角下，而是将战争中的民族主义，种族主义或马克思主义等混乱的意识形态展现开来。翻译有些地方略显生硬，不过其实这是一本很好的地区研究著作（对不起看法变了！后殖民主义时期分析很精彩）虽然我现在对地区研究实在是没兴趣。
评分草草一翻以后再读，内容不少
评分并无习焉不察的民族自决与反帝反殖的宏大叙事，本书借助史料努力还原了津巴布韦从前殖民时代至今，不同阶层、族群基于各自利益不断作出的斗争、妥协与放弃以及他们之间周而复始的结盟与分裂。因而虽然至今没有衍生出一套有效的利益均衡机制，但即使在穆加贝时代，津也未成为一个典型的专制国家。
