受不了这样的角色
评分還沒譯完，先一口氣讀了。台詞超級八點檔，但確實有張力。種種對比，包括流動的房車與定居的農場，出走的、不在場的母親與失職的父親，都表現了作者對愛爾蘭邊緣群體「tinker」悲劇命運的深刻同情。這個群體是遊蕩在這個國家的孤兒（或孤魂野鬼），但他們對腳下土地的敬畏與愛，遠甚於那些利用、剝削土地的農民。Bog of Cats，對其他所有人而言不過一個沒有意義的地名罷了，對流浪者Hester而言卻反而是必須堅守和歸去的故鄉。
