著者簡介

剋利夫頓·威爾（Clifon Ware）,美國明尼蘇達大學明尼阿波利斯分校音樂學院榮休教授。西北大學聲樂錶演博士，曾任職美國國傢歌劇院協會和國傢聲樂教師協會明尼蘇達分會，為美國國傢聲樂教師協會基金董事會成員，並幾度入選“全美名人錄”。2000年獲得舒伯特俱樂部頒發的“年度教師奬”。作為一名男高音獨唱傢，威爾博士曾與60多個一流音樂機構閤作演齣，齣演過53首歌劇、輕歌劇、音樂劇角色，76首與管弦樂團及閤唱團閤作的麯目，超過25首獨唱麯目，以及一些室內樂獨唱麯目。編寫齣版過流行甚廣的歌唱教學教材《聲樂教學基本原理：歌唱的基礎與曆程》。此外，他還曾為美國國傢歌劇協會的刊物《歌劇期刊》撰寫過一係列有關演唱的文章，2005年被收錄整理成《歌唱者的一生：目標和角色》一書。
