评分小说中的画家，少年和贵公子更像是王尔德的不同化身，或者是维多利亚时代的不同侧面，对艺术的执着，对生活的渴望，和对逝去的时代的留恋，Life is experience and life is art. PS据说王尔德和Pater都很受Swinburne影响，从小说中可见一斑。最喜欢他说的，那些所谓不道德的书只是展示给世界看它本来就丑陋的一面。
