The pains of having read too much & subject of liberation & an existentialist first-half

这是我最近一两年读过的最想推荐的小说。想到不知道如何谈论的程度。想去读其他的Graphic Novel，又害怕再读不到这样的佳作：对亡父的回忆和理解与自我的精神成长与发现交织在一起；很多细节非常微妙而丰满，而对其他文本的指涉又丰富了整本书的意涵。

算是仔细读过的第一本漫画书吧，完全没想到会如此深刻。看到加缪的名字的时候真是被吓到了。很久没有在阅读时候这么深入思考过了。音乐剧中有很多内容没能表现出来，不过已经很不错。书涉及到很多重要的主题，包括存在、死亡、同性恋、阅读。虽然说“性取向”是书最重要的主题，然而对我来说更关心的是阅读对Alison及父亲人生的影响。加缪、乔伊斯、菲茨杰拉德、普鲁斯特、王尔德已经不仅仅是“著名作家的名字”而已，他们和父亲的人生、死亡有着神秘的、说不清的联系。父亲是不是另一个普鲁斯特、王尔德？A Happy Death是否是父亲死亡的原因之一？对于Alison来说，由何尝不是这样。要不是因为读了一本书，恐怕她要很久之后才能明白自己是lesbian。是不是某种意义上来说，阅读塑造了我们的人生？

还是原版封面做得好，因为是精装的，书皮和正封对比很有意思，尤其是色彩。 这版的就没什么意思，还非整得很深沉的样子，黑色的基调就有问题。
