Michael Cunningham (born November 6, 1952) is an American novelist and screenwriter. He is best known for his 1998 novel The Hours, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the PEN/Faulkner Award in 1999. Cunningham is a senior lecturer of creative writing at Yale University.

评分The film adaptation is strong and powerful, the original novel is though subtle but intriguing. Beautifully written in every level. (I wanna get outta here to a far-away hotel room to read for a few hours, jut for escape.( But there is no way for me to escape.
评分I turn the last page over, as if I am the one who is alive, who is supposed to survive, even thrive, and as if I would rid myself, the flesh with its internal as a thriller of death. The party is ONLY for those who are not-yet-dead, isn't it, Mrs. Dalloway?
