著者簡介

馬特·裏德利先在牛津大學做動物學研究，然後當瞭一名記者。他在《經濟學人》雜誌工作瞭八年，在《星期日電訊》和《每日電訊》開設瞭七年專欄。《毫不掩飾》（Warts and All）一書就是他的作品，寫的是美國的總統政治，《紅心皇後》（The Red Queen）是他口碑最好的一本書，寫的是性的進化，也由企鵝書局齣版，同時他還寫瞭《基因組》（Genome）。他的書曾入圍六大文學奬項。他是國際生命中心（International Center for Life）機構的主席，現居盧森堡，妻子是紐卡斯爾大學心理學係的高級講師。
