契佛的短篇比长篇好太多。断断续续从一月份读到现在，六百多页终于读完，自我感觉如同完成一项壮举。契佛的故事，也不太有故事性，在我看来他书写的是郊区中产的失意忧伤的情绪状态。我惊讶于他是如何做到精准捕捉隐匿于外在的故事里的情绪的。我一边读他笔下的生活，一边过活我自己的生活，如同与人饮酒，相谈甚欢。爱契佛远胜于卡佛，不解卡佛巨大的声望来自哪里，对卡佛非常无感。
