A step-by-step guide to writing and managing the writer's life covers each portion of a written project, addresses such concerns as writer's block and getting published, and offers awareness and survival tips. Reprint. Tour. K. NYT.
In Part One, Lamott addresses the daunting task of beginning to write. She talks about how writers should strive to write at the same time every day and urges them to give themselves short, discrete assignments rather than long, complicated ones. She keeps ...

One psychologist used to say that literature, art, history and psychology all study human nature, only psychology uses the scientific method. I think he is right. And this book makes me appreciates how creative writers wants to say about human nature.
