卡森·麦卡勒斯，20世纪美国最重要的作家之一，1917年2月19日生于美国佐治亚州的Columbus。29岁后瘫痪。著有《心是孤独的猎手》、《婚礼的成员》、《黄金眼睛的映像》、《没有指针的钟》等小说作品。1967年9月29日麦卡勒斯在纽约州的Nyack去世，时年50岁。

受不了这种缓慢推进剧情不断展开对剧情不必要描述以及大量大量场景描写的故事。85页的短篇从70页才开始进正题，如果不是看在还有十来页就结束了早放弃了。
