1845-47 梭罗选择在瓦尔登湖岸的小木屋生活，一切返璞归真，，他发现自己一年只需工作六个星期，就足够支付他一切生活的开销了，人真正需求的其实可以很少，是欲望趋势着我们不断索取。年代有些久远的书，用词有些比较少见，自己的词汇量不够大，看起来有些吃力，没办法充分感受到美好和宁静！

文人的英语果然异常复杂，句式各种倒装组合拼接，和看英文IT书的难度，不可同日而语…进展慢到可怕，实在不值得继续啃了，弃。另对比后王家湘的译文确实远超徐迟，徐迟真是恣意发挥，凑出许多原文并无之意。
