It s strange that the author could have gotten this much information at a time when none of us gave a thought to where our power was coming from. Does this mean that the power shortages, gas shortages, etc., were know then but never brought to the attention for the public? This a work of fiction and is still a good read.

好像完全不知道在说什么，故事有点乱，还虎头蛇尾的

2018.09.12～2019.09.21。男主Nimrod工作中英明神武、生活中各种乱搞：高冷记者Nancy一出场我就觉得他俩迟早有一腿，半路冒出来一个诗人Karen把男主截胡了；男主坚持怀疑自己的老婆Ruth外面有人，真相却是她故意隐瞒病情，同情心压倒一切的男主马上和Karen肉体上划清界限、心灵上依然无限靠近，然而挂的不是Ruth是Karen；男主非常伤痛，我一心以为他是不是要皈依宗教求得内心宁静（毕竟一度探讨过这个主题），没想到聊着聊着和Nancy回家了——“有一腿”成就达成；好友A的遗孀、好友B的老婆和小姨子三位女士存在感不强就不说了。如果同事Teresa注重仪表、Milly还有第二次出场机会，这俩人应该也会和魅力无边的男主缠缠绵绵到天涯吧。
