如果没有后面的三个故事，这书我至多给3星，怪不得电影无魂，故事本身就略显幼稚。倒是三个短故事更有感染力，有通感的效果，尤其A Christmas Memory，和前段时间读的芬兰作家的The Summer Book异曲同工。但是卡波特的最佳依然是in cold blood啊，那本太好看了。
评分朋友的最爱，还牵涉着她逝去的爱情。书中常有警言妙语，只是没有记下。很想自己也有一本。

评分Quick-paced language, brilliant characterization, from the text somehow I can't picture Audrey Hepburn as Holly.
评分I like each story in this book. Holly's going-away belongings: the jewellery, the guitar, toothbrushes and stuff, a bottle of hundred-year-old brandy. Yeah, oh, and the cat. <House of flowers> is a bit scary to read at deep night. <A golden guitar> is a sad story. <A Christmas memory> is very very sweet.
