Hope, when it can't be discovered in certainty, can almost always be located in indeterminacy. 25周年revival在今日這個語境下格外應景。

看瞭一次迷你劇，看瞭一次18年百老匯現場，還是隻看懂瞭70%左右。無奈隻能擼一遍劇本，終於理解瞭95%，明白那群口吃天使到底想乾什麼。不得不承認劇本構思巧妙，比如不同場景交織和一人飾多角。作為comedy, 我大概覺得一些地方好笑，但我的笑點顯然比同場的美國人民要高一點(或者說理解能力低一點？)個人認為最幽默也最荒誕的是“上帝齣走”這個想法(包括對天堂，天使們的勾畫)。最動人的是Ethel帶領Louis給Roy念Kaddish，在現場看的時候是這麼覺得，讀完劇本更覺得是。It isn't easy, it doesn't count if it's easy, it's the hardest thing. Forgiveness.

找到劇本和2017年復排版AIA(ntlive)對照著看。新的英國國傢劇院版把劇本下捲的場次順序重新編排瞭，不過覺得還是劇本的順序更閤理一些。已經把HBO電視劇、新排的NT版和原著全部擼瞭一遍，還是不敢說看懂瞭這個戲。美國戲劇的裏程碑，一個時代的生動印記，值得反復地讀。
