作者對人性十足厭倦，刻畫人物如手術刀般冷靜，又同時帶著同情的意味。諷刺辛辣，但也不過分憤世嫉俗。文字精緻輕巧，語感一流。固然這本書裏的人和事都很喪，卻仍然讓人手不釋捲。唯一不足是過於私人瞭點，可能作者本意就是寫給孩童的自己吧，我拿來打發時間，誤會也是在所難免。
