Emily Bronte在結尾處峰迴路轉，為一個充滿復仇、毀滅等陰暗元素的故事畫上瞭句號。她最厲害的地方不是情節的編排，而是能夠通過細膩的筆觸把角色復雜、矛盾的情感貼切的傳達齣來。She's a master of the art of conveyance, indeed.

在《呼嘯山莊》麵前，我的心髒永遠不夠強壯，這個抑鬱、扭麯、歇斯底裏的愛情故事讀起來讓人心力交瘁。印象中有評論傢刻薄地寫到：“艾米麗在寫到一半時怎麼竟沒有自殺？”Well, nobody knows. Heathcliff在摯愛Catherine死前說：“May you not rest, as long as I am living. You said I killed you—haunted me, then.” 對我來說，這部放在書架上的Wuthering Heights本身，就是一副不散的陰魂。

圖書館那本讀起來好有感覺，N次産生順迴傢的感覺。。。

讀得極為“痛苦”，格局小瞭，你儂我儂的小打小鬧，技法再現代又怎麼樣呢／讀到Heathcliff去見Catherine的時候音樂放到Knaifel的An Autumn Evening，整個人一下子入戲瞭

第一次讀是小學 在保爾·柯察金的映襯之下它顯示齣難以言喻的美感。或許三年級時我的確體會著深刻的憂傷 總之當時我覺得我看懂瞭 在以後的歲月裏這本書也就成瞭我最喜歡的小說。
