‘Ivan Ilyich’ is just a normal and ordinary name as ‘John Smith’. Ivan ilyich’s life had been the most simple and most ordinary and therefore most terrible. What is the meaning of life? Do we define our success by others’ judgement? If we lost in it, then living is death& death is such joyful relief.

一部作品裏隻用單一一個服從丈夫、溫文爾雅、通情達理、典型傢庭主婦式的女性角色去代錶整個女性的形象，或者隻用一個會唱rap、沒文化、爆粗口、酗酒又傢暴的黑人角色去代錶整個黑人男性形象，顯然是有問題的。但同樣是弱勢群體，階級差距便可以被溫情脈脈所彌閤，跨階級的歧視性想象便可以被容忍乃至被鼓吹為“對（想象齣的）純潔、質樸的追求”，真實令人作嘔
