if you let yourself love a wild thing, you'll end up looking at the sky.但显然Holly并不惧怕，她那么潇洒，又那么勇敢（因而也成了别人的wild thing）。（电影的封面和人气总让我以为这是一部描写肤浅物质的女人的小说，小说里的形象完全不是如此啊。）（卡波特还借Holly的口为自己的性取向辩护，哈哈。）
评分卡波特擅長寫人物，不需要故事就能把人物寫活寫出味道。看過《蒂凡尼的早餐》的讀者，都會記得郝莉濕著頭髮，邊彈吉他邊唱歌的樣子。那麼清晰且熟悉的，笑聲和大眼睛，好像日日碰面的鄰居。
