角度挺有意思的 就是那种帮你把思维归纳好帮你把slippery的想法说出来的书

1.此版英译不太理想，争取一年后能读德语原本（据说沃氏德文很平易）；2.这本书里最大的tension，最后一章也未能弥合，即这套“基本概念”框架和阐述它所仰仗于的历史语境（15-18世纪）之间的关系，一方面似乎凌驾其上，另一方面又切实关乎具体的“风格转变”，沃氏并未给出相关解答；3.读罢越发认同潘和Wind在1925年对沃和李格尔之间的比较和判断，沃氏的长处在于从视觉层面阐发形式特征，但如何以此为基础将“概念”和“历史”／“实物”紧密结合，而不是架空历史来谈category，李格尔真的做得更为彻底（radical）、精确和动态，或许这也是为什么李格尔刻意避免了malerisch这个时代色彩厚重的词；4.书中很多一笔带过的论断里大有乾坤，也隐约觉得对建筑的论述最扎实精彩，沃氏其他著作有待细读
